Literature encompasses various forms of self expression. And the greatness of Telugu literature is shown by the fact that of all the statues that are stationed on Tank Bund of the Andhra Pradesh capital, Hyderabad, most people are from this cult. (A detailed report would follow later).

Of all the art forms, literature is the one that bestows immortality to people, who, otherwise, would have been ignored by history. Famous philosophers, thinkers, scientists, warriors, kings, emperors, and many others are known down the generations due to their mention being made in some piece of poetry, prose or other form of literature. Great men of wisdom immortalized their thoughts through teachings that were penned down by their disciples or followers. Literature paves the way to knowledge of history and is one of the major sources to delve into the past.
